The Georgia Southern track and field team had several sterling individual efforts at the Sun Belt Track and Field Championships as it finished seventh overall during the weekend.
"I'm really proud of how the ladies competed this weekend," head coach David Neville said. "We had several obstacles coming into the meet and even faced some while here, but they stepped up big time. I want to thank all of our seniors who contributed to this program, and for all those who are returning next season, we're coming back even bigger and stronger."
NaJ Watson continued to etch her name in the Georgia Southern record books, finishing in first place in the 200m finals with a time of 23.19, which smashed the previous record of 23.59 set in 2014.
