STATESBORO - Georgia Southern placed six student-athletes on the 2023 Women's Soccer Academic All-District Team, as announced by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) this afternoon.

The six Eagles named to the squad are: fifth-year senior defender Megan Przybysz (3.77, Public Health [MS]), fifth-year senior midfielder/defender Isabel Kopp (4.00, Exercise Science); senior defender Sade Heinrichs (4.00, Criminal Justice & Criminology); senior forward Simone Timm (3.80, Nursing); junior midfielder Smith Cathey (3.86, Marketing); and sophomore midfielder Carley Borgelt (3.84, Marketing).
