The fourth-ranked Georgia Southern rifle squad concludes its regular season Saturday, February 22, hosting No. 19 North Georgia Saturday for the NCAA Qualifier. Call to the line with prep and sighters begin at 7:30 a.m. with action starting at 8 a.m. at the Shooting Sport Education Center. Admission is free.
Live scoring can be found here.
Both squads will have five counters participating in both the USA Shooting 60-shot 3x20 small bore and 60-shot air rifle disciplines. The top four scores from both disciplines are used to determine the scores.
The match will serve as the NCAA Qualifier for both squads. Every team now has a three-score average heading into Saturday and the Qualifier score will be added to that total. Following Saturday's nationwide action, the top eight teams and eight individuals total from non-advancing teams in both disciplines will be announced as the NCAA Championship field for 2025. The selection show is Monday at 6 p.m. on NCAA.com.
