Bulloch County had a great showing at the USTA Landings Club Summer Classic tennis tournament last weekend, August 23-25, 2024.
Statesboro High Junior Davis Hall won the consolation bracket in the 16 and under division.
William James 7th grader, Burke Hall, was a consolation finalist in the boys 12u division, while William James 8th grader, Will Ruhland, won the boys 14u division.
Some other honorable mentions were Statesboro High freshman, Maxine Feltman, who won the singles and doubles 14u girls division. Statesboro High senior Naomi Feltman won the girls 18u doubles championship with Southeast Bulloch Junior Rylee Veland. Feltman also won the consolation bracket for the girls 18u singles division.
Julia P. Bryant 4th grader, Chloe Hall, finished 3rd in the 10U division.
