City of Statesboro announces holiday schedule and residential waste collection changes for Christmas

In observance of Christmas, City Hall and other city buildings will be closed December 24th-25th, with modified waste collection dates, including no collection on December 24th and 25th, and adjusted routes for the remainder of the week.

In observance of Christmas, City Hall and other city buildings will be closed December 24th-25th and reopen on Thursday, December 26th.

Please see the modified holiday schedule below for residential waste collection:

  • Dec. 23 - Monday Route
  • Dec. 24 - No Collection
  • Dec. 25 - No Collection
  • Dec. 26- Tuesday Route
  • Dec. 27- Wednesday and Thursday Route
