Mr. William H. “Rick” Scheider, Jr. age 66, passed away on Friday June 28, 2024 at Landmark Hospital in Savannah, GA.
Rick was born on August 21, 1957 to W.H. Scheider and Hellen Holland Scheider.
Rick served in the United States Air Force. He served in Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Rick will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Carl and Frances Williams.
Rick is survived by his wife Kathy Williams Scheider; his son William Christopher Scheider (Tina Marie Scheider; his grandchildren Brandon Michael and Oakley Todd Scheider; his brother Anthony Scheider; his brother-in- law Mike (Kaye) Williams as well as many cousins.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 1:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM in Oak Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Thomas Hendrix officiating.
Interment will be in Rockyford Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike Williams, Brandon Scheider, Oakley Scheider, Billy Joe Stansbury, Mitchell Hendrix, Ellwood Thompson and John Thompson.
