Ms. Lorine Jackson Hill, age 83, of Statesboro, GA., passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Heritage Inn and Rehabilitation Center in Statesboro, GA, under the care of Affinis Hospice.
She was a Bulloch County native and retired as a nurse from East Georgia Regional Medical Center.
Ms. Lorine was a member of the Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, where she sang in the Church Choir until her health failed. She was very active in many other ministries of the church.
She is survived by her children, Fred (Terri) Hill Jr., Brooklet, GA, James Walter (Stephaine) Hill, Columbia, SC, Alvin Dewayne Hill, Atlanta, GA, Jennifer Hill, Conyers, GA and Kelvin Christopher Hill, Statesboro, GA; sisters, Grace (Leroy) Safford and Carolyn McCullom, both of Statesboro, GA; brothers, Harvey Jackson, Maurice (Kim) Jackson, both of Statesboro, GA and Harold (Carolyn) Jackson, Portal, GA. A host of other relatives and friends.
