Pamela Ellison Stewart, age 68, died on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at Ogeechee Area Hospice. As a lifelong resident of Statesboro, GA she attended Statesboro High and was a retired hairdresser. As a talented hairdresser, Pam transformed not just hair but also lives. Her sense of humor left a lasting impact on her clients, many of whom became lifelong friends. With her scissors in hand and a smile on her face, she created an atmosphere of comfort and beauty, making everyone feel special.
She loved to fish and sit on her porch listening to good ole country music. She enjoyed being in or around water anytime it was Summer. Above all she was an amazing Mother and Grandmother. She will be remembered in every sunset.
She was proceeded in death by her (Father) Roscoe Ellison (Mother) Winnie Brinson, (Brother) Larry Ellison, (Husband) Johnny Stewart Sr. and (Grandson) Tommy Blaine Hendrix.
She is survived by her children, Shalah Hendrix and Brittany Parish. Her grandchildren Blair, Blake, Lainey Brooke and Chloe Hendrix and Carleigh Myrick. Great grandmother to Addie, Annie, Emmie and Jonnie. She delighted in every moment spent with them, sharing stories and laughter.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Joiner Anderson Funeral home in Statesboro.
The funeral service will be held at Joiner Anderson Funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00am with Rev. Max Alderman officiating.
Interment will follow at Brinson-Bennett Family Cemetery in Millen, GA.
Pallbearer’s will be Jody Rogers, Jim Rogers, Blake Hendrix, Jud Street, Joey Myrick, and Justin Glisson.
