Joy Poole Burke, age 66, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024 peacefully at home.
She was born in Titusville, Fl and raised in Brooklet Ga. Joy was a graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School. Joy loved spending time at the beach and had a deep passion not only for horses but also her faith in God.
She is preceded in death by her Father Russell T. Poole and a nephew Matthew D. Swint.
Survivors include her mother Martha Poole, Statesboro Ga. Sisters, Polly Swint of Brooklet. Susan (Graylin) Smith of Ellabell. Brother, Russell (Lori) Poole of Brooklet. Her children, Timothy R. Burke II, Leslie ( Jeffrey) Myatt both of Statesboro. Grandchildren, Airman First Class Blake (Autumn) Burke of Eglin AFB Fl. Alana ( Corporal Jathon) Arce, Marine Corps Air Station, Beaufort SC. and Breanna Myatt of Statesboro. Great grandchildren, Grayson and Avery Burke and Ava Arce. 4 nephews and 1 great niece.
