August 4, 1944  -  January 1, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our father and husband Joseph (Joe) Thomas Littleton, age 80, on New Year’s Day 2025. Joe passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family and friends.

Joe was born August 4, 1944 to Irene and Rockland Littleton of Tennessee. He was a U.S. Air Force Vietnam era veteran and worked as a radar technician for the FAA for over 30 years in Puerto Rico, Knoxville TN and Myrtle Beach SC. He started Radar Systems Analysis after retirement and managed that business until his death. In 2023 Joe and his wife moved to Georgia. Joe loved the outdoors, traveling, dirt biking with his sons, classic rock and his guitar. He had the most amazing friends. He loved traveling to different parts of the country to visit lighthouses. He was honored to walk his daughters down the aisle, and loved making popcorn with his grandchildren. He enjoyed dancing with his wife anywhere, everywhere – music or not. You could often find Joe tinkering among his tools and machines in his garage, workroom, office or any flat surface of the house. When not working, Joe was riding his Harley with his wife.

Joe is survived by his beloved partner and wife of 27 years, Robin; his 2 sons, Michael (Kendra) Littleton and Brian (Liz) Littleton and his 5 daughters Niki (Jessica) Bryant, Bobbie Mebius, Jessica (Christian) Rudeen, Emili (Woody) Dougan-Brownson, and Manda (Allen) Browning.

Joe’s legacy includes his 13 grandchildren, Riley (Michael), Broc and Baylor (Brian), Tristan, Parker and Sawyer Eloise (Niki), Caroline, Alexander, Sadie, and Lucy (Jessica), Conrad (Emili), Nyali and Joseph Wyatt (Manda).

Joe is preceded in death by his mother and father; his sister, Patricia Oglesby and brother, Grover (Ted) Littleton; his granddaughter Rebecca Rose (Jessica).

To honor Joe’s incredible life Joe’s request for a celebration of life will be honored in March 2025. Friends and family will be notified of the details.

Joe was a proud supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project and appreciated their efforts for our military veterans. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project in his memory.
