The general election will take place in Bulloch County on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

Please be patient with poll workers. These workers are citizens who are stepping up to serve us all. If you are in line at 7:00pm, stay in line. You will be allowed to vote as long as you are in line.

- Commission 1A - Ryan Brannen (R) verses Ray Mosley (D).
- Commission 2C - Len Fatica (D) verses Nick Newkirk (R).
- Coroner - Chuck Francis (R), verses Craig Tremble (D).
- City Council 1 - John Grotheer, Ken Jackson, Tangie Johnson
- State Representative 158th - Butch Parrish (R) verses Madeline Ryan Smith (D).
- U.S. Representative 12th - Rick Allen (R) verses Liz Johnson (D).
Election Day Voting
This will occur at your voting precinct on November 5 from 7:00am to 7:00pm. If you are in line at 7:00pm, you will be allowed to cast your vote.
When you get to your polling place, proceed to the check-in desk and fill out a voter’s certificate with your name and address. Next, show your photo ID. A poll worker will then check your photo ID, verify that you are registered and at the correct polling location, issue you a voter access card or ballot, whichever is applicable, and allow you to vote.

You will enter your first initial, last name, county name, and date of birth. It will then verify you are an active voter and show you the location of your voting precinct. You can also view your sample ballot. This ballot will only include candidates whose district you live in and you can vote for.

I.D. Requirements
Georgia law requires registered voters to show photo identification in order to vote in person.
What IDs are acceptable?
- Any valid state or federal government issued photo ID, including a FREE Voter ID Card issued by your county registrar’s office or the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS)
- A Georgia Driver’s License
- Valid employee photo ID from any branch, department, agency, or entity of the U.S. Government, Georgia, or any county, municipality, board, authority or other entity of this state
- Valid U.S. passport ID
- Valid U.S. military photo ID
- Valid tribal photo ID
Georgia’s Voter Identification Card
If you do not have one of the six acceptable forms of photo ID, the State of Georgia offers a FREE Voter Identification Card. An identification card can be issued at any county registrar’s office or Department of Driver Services Office free of charge. To receive a voter identification card, the voter must provide:
- A photo identity document or approved non-photo identity document that includes full legal name and date of birth
- Documentation showing the voter’s date of birth
- Evidence that the applicant is a registered voter
- Documentation showing the applicant’s name and residential address
Example of a Georgia Voter ID Card
If you do not have a photo ID listed above, you can still vote by provisional ballot. You have three days after the election to bring the required photo ID to your county registrar’s office in order for your provisional ballot to be counted.
If you have to vote a provisional ballot because you don’t have one of the forms of Photo ID listed above, you can go to your county voter registration office, get a FREE photo ID and present it within three days after the election and your provisional ballot will be counted.
If you simply forget your Photo ID, and time permits, you can retrieve it, return to the polling place, and vote.
