Grice Connect is providing this list of business and school closings due to Tropical Storm Debby. Please check the list often. When in doubt, please contact the organization directly.

Schools/Daycares/Colleges (Listed in alphabetical order)

• Bible Baptist Christian Academy & Daycare: CLOSED Monday, August 5 through Friday, August 9
  
  Classes will resume on Monday, August 12.

• Boys & Girls Club of Bulloch County: CLOSED Monday, August 5 through Friday, August 9
  
  They will reopen on Monday, August 12.

• Bright Minds Playhouse and Bright Experience Childcare and Learning Center: CLOSED Monday, August 5th
  
  Parents will be notified about the operating status of the center for Tuesday, August 6.

• Bulloch Academy: CLOSED through Friday, August 9

• Bulloch County Schools: CLOSED Monday, August 5 - Friday, August 9
  
  All Bulloch County Schools will be closed through the end of the week for employees and students. All athletics and after-school events are also canceled.

• Bulloch Rec After School Program: CLOSED through Friday, August 9
  
  Parents will be issued credit refunds for these days, but Bulloch Rec will not do so until later this week in case there are more days of cancelation. They will send further information on how much each parent will have credited back to their account.

• Bumblebees Childcare Learning Center and Pre-K: CLOSED Monday, August 5th and Tuesday, August 6th
  
  They will post additional closure updates, if needed.

• Georgia Southern University: REDUCED OPERATIONS Monday, August 5 through Wednesday, August 7

  All GS campuses will return to normal business operations on Thursday, August 8.

• Kidovations: CLOSED Monday, August 5 & Tuesday, August 6
   
• KidsWorld Learning Center/PreK & Kindergarten: CLOSED Monday, August 5, Tuesday, August 6 & Wednesday, August 7
  
  Additional delays and/or closures may occur if needed. The center will post an update regarding the re-opening date.

• Ogeechee Technical College: CLOSED Tuesday, August 6 & Wednesday, August 7
  
  All campuses will be closed Tuesday, August 6. The College will assess conditions and make an announcement regarding further closures on Tuesday afternoon. Enrollment Blitz will be rescheduled to Tuesday, August 13.

• Pittman Park Education Center: CLOSED Monday, August 5 & Tuesday, August 6
  
  They make a decision about Wednesday by 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
   
• Smiles, Giggles & Hugs: CLOSED Monday, August 5, Tuesday, August 6 & Wednesday, August 7
  
  An announcement will be made concerning plans to reopen. 
   
• Statesboro STEAM Academy: CLOSED Monday, August 5 through Friday, August 9
   
• Tiny Treasures Learning Academy, LLC: CLOSED Monday, August 5 and Tuesday, August 6
   
• Trinity Christian School Open House: POSTPONED to Friday, August 9
  
  TCS will begin school Monday morning.

• Averitt Center for the Arts (Including Classes & Art Adventures): CLOSED Tuesday, August 6
   
• Botanic Garden at Georgia Southern: CLOSING 5pm on Monday, August 5
  
  The garden staff will reassess on Thursday morning, August 8, and make a plan for reopening.
   
• Bulloch County Board of Commissioners Meeting: CANCELED for Tuesday, August 6
  
  Agenda items will be rescheduled to a later date.
   
• Bulloch County Clerk of Court's Office: CLOSED Tuesday, August 6
  
  This closure could be extended depending on the storm’s severity.
   
• Bulloch County Magistrate Court: CLOSED Monday, August 5 & Tuesday, August 6
  
  Hearings scheduled for Monday the 5th and Tuesday the 6th will be rescheduled. Please contact the court for further information concerning the rescheduled date upon reopening.
  
  Bulloch County Magistrate Courts office will be open Wed., Aug 7th from 8am to 1pm as weather permits. We will be having court at 10am as scheduled. If you have a hearing scheduled in the morning and the roads/weather is bad in your area, PLEASE DO NOT attempt to come. • Bulloch County Non-Essential Offices: CLOSED Monday, August 5, Tuesday, August 6 & Wednesday, August 7
  
  Announcements will be made about further closings depending upon storm impact. This does NOT affect Superior Court, State Court, or grand jury; all will proceed as planned for Monday.
   
• Bulloch County Superior Court, State Court, and Grand Jury: CANCELED for Tuesday, August 6
  
  Please be advised that if you were scheduled for State Court on Tuesday, August 6th, it has been rescheduled to September 4th. Please stay in contact with your attorney for other updates.
   
• Child Advocacy Services SEGA Office: CLOSED Monday, August 5 until further notice
   
• City of Brooklet Trash Collection: NO PICKUP Tuesday, August 6
  
  They will resume the route on Thursday, August 8. Please return all carts to your residence to prevent them from blowing into the streets or floating off. Brooklet City Offices will be open for normal business hours depending on the storm's severity.
   
• City of Statesboro Residential Trash Collection: NO PICKUP Tuesday, August 6
   

  

  
   
• Compassion Christian Church: CLOSED Monday, August 5

  Out of an abundance of caution, we will be closing our buildings Monday, August 5. Groups, Group Nights, or other meetings that take place on a Compassion campus will be canceled due to this closure.

• CORE Credit Union (All Offices): CLOSED Tuesday, August 6
  
  They plan to reopen Wednesday, August 7 for normal business hours but are closely monitoring the weather.

• EGRMC Clinics: CLOSED Tuesday, August 6 & Wednesday, August 7
  
  The hospital remains open, and its skilled physicians, nurses and other employees are equipped to continue caring for patients in the hospital, as well as those who may come to the emergency department.
   

  

   

• Fixing the Boro SNIP Clinic: CLOSED Wednesday, August 7
  
  They will reopen for normal hours on Sunday, August 11, but please check their website for the most up-to-date information,

• Georgia Southern Center for Wildlife Education: CLOSED Tuesday, August 6 & Wednesday, August 7

• Goodwill Southeast Georgia Retail Stores/Opportunity Centers: CLOSING Monday, August 5 at Noon
  
  Goodwill asks donors to leave donations only where an attendant is present. Unsecured donations are vulnerable to weather and theft making them unable to sell and support our workforce mission.

  Goodwill will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates as needed.  Updates will also be available on Facebook at @GoodwillSoutheastGeorgia.

• Kiwanis Club of Statesboro: Meeting CANCELED on Thursday, August 8

• Statesboro Area Transit Buses: NO SERVICE Monday, August 5
  
  Statesboro Area Transit will suspend bus service on Monday, August 5th due to inclement weather expected from Tropical Storm Debby. Services will resume on Tuesday pending weather forecast and road conditions.

• Statesboro-Bulloch County Library: CLOSED Monday, August 5 & Tuesday, August 6

• Statesboro Cardiology: CLOSED, Tuesday, August 6

• Statesboro Housing Authority Main Office: CLOSED Monday, August 5 (at noon) & Tuesday, August 6
