Trinity Episcopal Church in Statesboro is on the verge of completing its much-anticipated outdoor worship space, with the recent laying of the final bricks bringing the project closer to fruition.

This milestone marks a significant step in the church's efforts to create a serene environment for outdoor services and community gatherings.

Father Charles Todd, the church's rector, expressed his gratitude for the dedication and hard work that has gone into the project.

"I would like to thank Tommy Whitaker for doing the masonry work," Father Todd stated, acknowledging the skilled craftsmanship that has helped bring the vision to life.

Much of the construction has been a labor of love from the church community. Parishioners have been heavily involved in the process, with many volunteering their time and talents.

"I am so proud of the work our church family has done," Father Todd added. "Our church family have gathered together on Saturdays to dedicate their time and talents to this endeavor."

The new outdoor worship space is set to become a beautiful addition to the church grounds, offering a peaceful setting for services and events. The church aims to begin using the space this fall, providing a new venue for worship that will be cherished by the congregation and the wider community.
