The community is invited to drop donations of peanut butter and jelly off at any Statesboro Synovus branch this month.

You can join Synovus Bank in Statesboro this month for their "Spread the Love" campaign, which aims to provide the Statesboro Food Bank with a much needed supply of peanut butter and jelly.

Peanut butter is a staple item for food banks, as it contains protein, healthy fats, and good vitamins and minerals. And, of course, nothing goes better with peanut butter than jelly!

"At Synovus, we need your help to 'Spread the Love' as we collect peanut butter and jelly for the Statesboro Food Bank," Synovus Retail Market Manager Chris Wiggins said. "We are passionate about our community and take pride in supporting local organizations. We will be collecting PB&J throughout the month of September. Donations can be dropped off at any of the Statesboro Synovus locations."

Locations for drop-off include:

  • 2 East Main Street
  • 987 Lovett Road
  • 1205 Brampton Avenue

The lobby of each branch is open for donations from 9am-4pm, Monday to Thursday, and from 9am-5pm on Fridays. The Lovett Road (mall) branch drive-thru is open Saturday from 9am-noon.
