Statesboro's Small Business Bash celebrates local entrepreneurship with community

Statesboro's Small Business Bash was held on Saturday, September 23rd downtown on East Vine Street. Cheer South All-Stars hosted the event in celebration of its 25th year of being a small business in Statesboro. Locals came out to support the event by shopping and mingling with local entrepreneurs and small business owners.

On Saturday, September 23rd, Cheer South All-Stars hosted a Statesboro Small Business Bash to give local small businesses the opportunity to connect with the Statesboro community. The event took place along East Vine Street in Downtown Statesboro.

Event organizer Jomal Childers said there were a total of 42 vendors present for the event.

"We had a very diverse group of vendors," he said. "Our youngest vendors were two elementary aged brothers selling lemonade. We even had high-school aged entrepreneurs as well. It was a hit!"

Cheer South All-Stars hosted the event in celebration of its 25th year of being a small business within the community. They sought to further celebrate and spotlight other small businesses in Statesboro, making this community event a celebration of entrepreneurship.

"The event was a success," Childers added. "Vendors were excited that our athletes were there to assist and asked if we would host the event next year. Everyone was in such good spirits, and If we do the event next year, we already have some exciting additions to help our local business owners."
