Statesboro Family YMCA will host community Back to School Bash

The Statesboro Family YMCA will host their 2nd Annual "Back to School Bash" on Friday, July 28, 2023, from 5-7:30pm. The event is free and open to the public and will feature fun activities in addition to FREE school supplies!

The Statesboro Family YMCA will host "Back to School Bash" on Friday, July 28th from 5p-7:30p.

The Statesboro Family YMCA will host their annual Back to School Bash on July 28, 2023, from 5-7:30pm located on 409 Clairborne Ave.

This event is FREE and OPEN to the Public. The Back To School Bash event will feature bounce houses, vendors, crafts, games, and even FREE school supplies and other items for families.

The YMCA is currently taking donations for school supplies. There are multiple ways to donate school supplies to the YMCA currently. Please see the graphic below for additional instructions.

“Last year we gave out notebooks, folders, paper, and so much more! We’re excited to celebrate back to school with the community and provide a safe place for kids when school is in,” says YMCA Director Hannah Beggs.

The Afterschool program will also be hosting their open house for the public to see in person. The Statesboro Family YMCA Afterschool Program runs the entire school year from 2-6pm and is $40.00 weekly for Statesboro Family YMCA members.

The Afterschool program features homework help, craft time, PE time, and even STEM and music free play activities for the children.
