Members of the Statesboro Board of Realtors were invited to have lunch and celebrate a great year of work in 2023. The 60th annual banquet took place at the Jack Hill Oak Room on the campus of Ogeechee Technical College on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.
“I am extremely proud of our amazing Realtors for their perseverance in 2023. Our agents have worked very hard to assist families and investors to achieve their real estate needs in this competitive real estate market," said Ronald Love, President of the Statesboro Board of Realtors. "I couldn’t be more proud of their accomplishments and commitment to service! We definitely have the best realtors in the state of Georgia in our midst.”
A total of 81 awards were given out at the event. In order to be recognized, agents had to eclipse $1 million in sales volumes in 2023.
- 15 recipients received a plaque for their first year as a member of the Distinguished Sales Society
- 8 recipients received a plaque for their second year as a member of the Distinguished Sales Society
- 11 recipients received a plaque for the Life Member award that recognized third and fourth-year members
- 47 recipients for the Continuing Life Member award that recognized five plus years of membership.
President Ronald Love and President Elect Pat Hirsch called every recipient one by one to receive their plaque and take a quick picture.
Hazel Hendrix was recognized for being a 30-year Continuing Life Member of the Statesboro Board of Realtors.
Jeff Raines also received a special award. He received the Past Presidents Award.
