Southeast Georgia Road Work Weekly Traffic Interruption Advisory Nov. 30-Dec. 6

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) has announced ongoing construction and maintenance projects across Southeast Georgia, with potential traffic disruptions and lane closures from Saturday, November 30 to Friday, December 6, including Thanksgiving holiday lane restrictions on major routes.

Weekly Traffic Interruption Advisory 

SOUTHEAST GA - Georgia Department of Transportation continues essential road work throughout Southeast Georgia.  As a result, work on construction and maintenance projects will continue Saturday, November 30 through Friday, December 6.  
 
Thanksgiving holiday lane closure restrictions on interstates and major State Routes will be in place from 6 a.m., Wednesday, November 27 to 5 a.m., Monday, December 2.
 
All work subject to change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, pay attention and watch for workers.
