Southeast Bulloch continues undefeated streak at Fred Shaver Invitational

Southeast Bulloch hosted their annual Fred Shaver Invitational on Saturday, treating fans to a full day of competitive flag football. Eight teams from across the state brought their best on a hot October day.

The crowd at Southeast Bulloch enjoyed a full day of competitive flag football during the annual Fred Shaver Invitational on Saturday, October 26, 2024. Games kicked off at 9am and ran until 5pm, with teams from across the state, including Southeast Bulloch, Oconee County, Portal, Lowndes, Long County, Valdosta, Evans County, and Colquitt County.

Southeast Bulloch’s Standout Day

Southeast Bulloch’s Varsity Girls Flag Football team went undefeated, led by key players who made a major impact on both sides of the ball. Defensive powerhouses Hali Long and Jadyn Williams kept opponents in check, while Natalya Odom shined as a receiving star, helping SEB push down the field. Emma Cate Barron brought her powerful arm to the offense, setting up big plays and showing off her accuracy and strength.

The invitational, a tribute to Fred Shaver’s dedication to sports, offered fans exciting matchups and celebrated the athleticism of each team. With Southeast Bulloch’s undefeated record and standout performances from Barron, Odom, Long, Williams, Kitchings, and Adams, the event was a memorable homage to Shaver’s legacy.
