Charly Kinship, Coordinator of Keep Statesboro-Bulloch Beautiful (KSBB)  said, “We had a great turn out at the 3rd Annual RecycleFest! We were blessed with energetic volunteers, refreshments offered by Unitarian Universalist Church, and information shared by other local environmental groups like the Tree Board and Greener Boro Commission.”

Kinship shared that due to the recycling vendors present they were able divert “several truck loads, a van load, and a trailer load of materials from the landfill.” Other usable items were dropped off at Christian Social Ministries. They also collected a large amount of cardboard that was given to local area farmers for gardening.
