A man has died in a single vehicle a crash in Bulloch County on Wednesday evening.
Bulloch County 911 dispatched Bulloch County EMS, Bulloch County Fire, Bulloch Sheriff's Deputies and Georgia State Patrol to a vehicle crash on Old Register Way at 7:59 PM.
According to GSP Sergeant Robbie Scott, the male driver of a SUV was traveling north on Old Register Way when he approached a sharp curve at Burkhalter Road. The driver failed to negotiate the curve and traveled off the roadway. He overcorrected causing the vehicle to being overturning. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Bulloch County Coroner Richard Pylant pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
Coroner Pylant identified the deceased driver as Mitchell Bruce Bailey, 49 with a Guyton, GA address
GSP Post 45 Troopers James Tuner and Jacob Stansell are handling the crash investigation.
