IT'S SHOWTIME! 'Statesboro Stars' to take the stage Thursday night and Sunday afternoon

Local celebrities and their dance pro partners will debut their moves at two dazzling Dancing with the Statesboro Stars shows benefiting Safe Haven and its mission to support victims of domestic violence. The show is presented by D&R Car Care and Safe Haven. Get your tickets before it's too late!

Each year, Dancing with the Statesboro Stars captivates sold-out audiences as community members come together to watch local celebrities and their dance partners showcase their phenomenal dance routines. This event raises funds for Safe Haven, an organization committed to supporting victims of domestic violence.

And it's finally SHOWTIME! The Statesboro Stars will perform on Thursday, November 21 at 6:30pm and Sunday, November 24 at 3pm. Both shows are at Connection Church, located at 1342 Cawana Road in Statesboro, GA. Tickets are still on sale for just $32.50. The show is presented by D&R Car Care, and all proceeds benefit Safe Haven!

The dancers' relentless dedication to perfecting their performances and raising awareness guarantees a memorable, family-friendly experience filled with joy and the motivation to support those in need.

At Thursday's show, there will be an interactive Red Carpet event preceding the show. Celebrity judges will award the Judge's Choice Award, and the Fundraiser Award Winners will be announced. Emcees for the evening will be Russ Lanier and Joey Fennell, and celebrity judges will be Miss Georgia Ludwidg “Lulu” Louizaire, WJCL’s Frank Sulkowski, and Frank Middleton!

On Sunday, the audience has the opportunity to choose which team will receive the prestigious Fan Favorite Award and Team Player Award.

Safe Haven is a non-profit organization with a mission to serve, strengthen, and support adult and child victims of domestic violence by providing emergency shelter and community-based services. Proudly serving Bulloch, Candler, Effingham, Jenkins, Screven, and Washington Counties, their services are offered free of charge to individuals and families affected by domestic violence. They are committed to empowering survivors by offering knowledge and resources that enable individuals to understand their options, leading to lives of safety, security, and self-sufficiency.

Please remember that Safe Haven's Crisis Line is available 24/7 at (912) 764-4605, and you can visit their Outreach office at 204 North College St. from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Advocates are available to assist with safety planning and explain the numerous free and confidential ways they support survivors of domestic violence in our community.
