The Tybee Island Marine Science Center’s Turtle Trot and Sea Turtle Day are scheduled for Saturday, April 29. Registration is still open for the Turtle Trot through April 27 at https://runsignup.com/Race/GA/TybeeIsland/TybeeTurtleTrot5kBeachRun.
Following the Turtle Trot, the Tybee Island Marine Science Center is hosting Sea Turtle Day at 37 Meddin Drive. Sea Turtle Day activities are free for Turtle Trot participants and free for others with paid admission to the Center or Tybee Island Marine Science Center membership.
Sea Turtle Day’s scheduled activities are as follows:
Westie Feedings: 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4 p.m.
Photo Shoots: 10:30 a.m., 12 p.m. 1:30 p.m., 3 p.m.
Artifact Talks: 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m., 3:30 p.m.
