Victor Wainwright’s musical journey began in his hometown of Savannah, Georgia, where he was inspired by his father’s vocals and his grandfather’s boogie-woogie piano style. Since his debut album, Piana' From Savannah, Wainwright has continued to evolve his sound, gaining international acclaim for his genre-blending approach and high-octane live shows.

Together with The Train, Wainwright delivers a powerful musical experience that moves audiences to their feet. “If you wanna boogie, get aboard the train,” Wainwright sings in his crowd-favorite track, The Train. His band is known for their electrifying stage presence and exceptional musicianship, capturing the spirit of live performance with every note.

For his "Tribute To The Mightly 88 Piano Masters!,"  Wainwright begins with an exploration of some of some of the great blues piano players and works his way up and into some rollicking fun featuring showstoppers from the songbooks of Little Richard, Ray Charles, Jerry Lee Lewis, Doctor John and more. Through the course of the evening, Victor will perform two shows. Show #2 will feature Victor Wainwright and The Train originals from his critically-acclaimed albums, The Train and Memphis Loud.

It's a double-header with Victor Wainwright and Friends featuring Terrence Grayson on bass, Pat Harrington on guitar, Samuel L. Butts on drums, and The Train Horns, Chandler Judkins and Gavin Jorgensen.

“I believe that for roots music to grow and reach new audiences, we have to push it forward,” Wainwright explained. This philosophy is evident in his bold musical style, which fuses elements of Latin, New Orleans piano, psychedelia, and more, creating a sound that is both innovative and deeply rooted in tradition.

Concertgoers can expect an unforgettable evening filled with soulful vocals, barrelhouse piano thrills, and the kind of energy that only Victor Wainwright & The Train can deliver.
