Countdown to Kickoff

7: Khaleb Hood needs seven catches to tie the single-season receptions record of 87 that he set last year.
6: Georgia Southern is looking to win its sixth game at Allen E. Paulson Stadium this year. It would mark the 13th undefeated season at Paulson Stadium and the first since 2014.
5: Defensive lineman Isaac Walker leads the FBS with five forced fumbles and also has an FBS-high four fumble recoveries. Both are one away from tying the school record for that statistic in a season.
