The City of Statesboro will present its eighth and final concert of the 2nd Annual Downtown Live Concert Series on Thursday, September 12, 2024 in Historic Downtown Statesboro. Cole Goodwin will make his first appearance on the Downtown Live stage.

Goodwin is a 22-year-old country singer/songwriter from Pooler, Georgia, who grew up listening to southern gospel and country music. His musical roots are classical country like that of Waylon Jennings and Keith Whitley, but his passion for all musical genres is displayed in his other influences from the likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Allman Brothers, Hank Williams Jr., and Eric Church.

He was voted Savannah's Best Country Artist in 2023 and 2024.

The concert will be held on East Main Street in front of the Bulloch County Courthouse and is free and open to the public.

Grab your dancing shoes and lawn chair and join the fun in Downtown Statesboro. Food trucks and vendors will open at 6pm with several downtown restaurants also within walking distance of the concert stage. The show begins at 7pm. Downtown Live is a family-friendly event for all ages.
