The Davenport House Museum, a treasured Historic Savannah Foundation property that served as the birthplace of Savannah’s modern-day preservation movement, will put a festive holiday spin on daily guided tours, offering special Yuletide Tours through January 4, 2025.
Offering a seasonal interpretation of the traditional, docent-led house tour, Yuletide Tours invite locals and visitors to experience the holiday traditions practiced in early 19th-century Savannah. These family-friendly tours will guide guests through the decked halls of the 204-year-old Federal-style home and offer insight into how the Davenport family celebrated the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year holidays.
Yuletide Tours also include access to the Urban Enslaved Exhibit, an immersive experience that sheds light on the lives of the 13 enslaved individuals who lived and worked at the Davenport House. Guests will gain insight into how these individuals observed and were impacted by the holiday season.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for students, $10 for children and free for children under 6 years of age as well as Historic Savannah Foundation members. Senior and military discounts are available at the door. To purchase tickets or to learn more about Yuletide Tours at the Davenport House Museum, please click HERE or visit davenporthousemuseum.org.

The Davenport House is open Monday through Saturday and will be closed on Thanksgiving Eve, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
