The Bulloch County Health Department will be hosting two drive-thru flu vaccine events in the coming weeks. The first will be held next Thursday, October 17, from 2:00pm-5:00pm. The second clinic will take place on Halloween (October 31) from 9:00am-12:00pm.

They encourage all of Statesboro to swing by the Bulloch County Health Department (1 West Altman Street, Statesboro, GA 30458) to receive a flu shot. Individuals should plan to stay for the 15-minute observation period after receiving their vaccination.

If one cannot attend either date, flu shots and other immunizations are always available as a walk-in service at the Bulloch County Health Department during normal hours of operation.

A yearly flu vaccine is the first and most important step in protecting against flu viruses. The CDC recommends that everyone 6 months or older get an annual flu shot.
