Averitt Center to host All Fired Up! sale showcasing local artists Thursday, Friday, Saturday

The All Fired Up! Spring Exhibition & Sale takes place at the Roxie Remley Center for Fine Arts this week. Purchases will support local artists as well as arts education at Georgia Southern.

The All Fired Up! Spring Exhibition & Sale, which is part of a partnership between the Averitt Center for the Arts and Georgia Southern's Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art, will feature unique goods made by local artists and GSU students, including ceramics, fine arts, and jewelry.

The sale will take place at the Roxie Remley Center for Fine Arts at 31 East Vine Street in Statesboro on Thursday, April 25, from 2-8pm, Friday, April 26, from 10am-8pm, and Saturday, April 27, from 10am-2pm.

Artists and GSU students are encouraged to submit their artwork for sale through the online registration form. The deadline for submitting artwork is April 24, 2024.

The Averitt Center for the Arts has announced that 75% of the proceeds from the sale will go back to the artist, while the remaining 25% will go towards supporting the arts education programs and classes at GSU.
