FINAL - Bulloch General Primary Election Results

Sheriff Noel Brown is the only incumbent to win re-election. Jappy Stringer and Nick Newkirk are entering into a run off. Bennett wins Chairman, Davis Wins 2-C, Mock wins BOE 3, Nevil wins BOE 7. Busbee wins Bulloch, leading across the circuit.

The polls have now closed for the Bulloch County General Primary Election. 

Tonight voters will decide who will be Bulloch Counties next:

  • County Commission Chair
  • Commissioner 2A
  • Commissioner 2C (unless there is a runoff)
  • BOE 7
  • BOE 8
  • Sheriff
  • District Attorney

  • BOE District 3 - incumbent Stuart Tedders did not seek re-election.  Jennifer Mock (NP) and Suzanne Hallman (NP) have qualified.
  • BOE District 7 - incumbent Heather Mims (NP) is being challenged by Lisha Nevil (NP).
  • Sheriff - incumbent Noel Brown (R) is being challenged by Keith Howard (R).
  • District Attorney Daphne Totten (R) is being challenged by Robert Busbee (R).

  • Commission 1A - incumbent Ray Mosley (D) is being challenged by Ryan Brannen (R).
  • Commission 2C - incumbent Jappy Stringer (R) is being challenged by Bryan Pfund (R), Nick Newkirk (R) and  Len Fatica (D). (Winner between Stringer, Pfund and Newkirk will run against Fatica in November)
  • Coroner - appointed incumbent Richard Pylant did not seek election. Deputy Coroner Chuck Francis (R), Deputy Coroner Craig Tremble (D) and Matthew Lovett (D) have all qualified.  (Winner between Tremble and Lovett will run against Francis in November)
  • U.S. Representative - Rick Allen (R) is being challenged by DJ Jackson (D) and Liz Johnson (D).
  • State Representative Butch Parrish (R) is being challenged by Madeline Ryan Smith (D).
