The Statesboro community garden needs some TLC. On Friday, August 25, members of Keep Statesboro-Bulloch Beautiful (KSBB) will be placing landscaping tarp and rock along intended pathways to make the garden more accessible for its gardeners.

The organization is asking for community help with the project.

This volunteer opportunity is from 8 to 11 a.m. at the garden, which is located at 130 Parker Street in Statesboro.

The purpose of the community garden, which is managed by KSBB and the city of Statesboro, is to provide a community setting for Statesboro residents to experience, learn and participate in gardening while increasing access to fresh foods, promoting healthy living and building bonds with neighbors.
