Haunted Forest of Statesboro returns to the Kiwanis Ogeechee Fairgrounds, supporting the Boys & Girls Club of Bulloch County

The Haunted Forest of Statesboro is a local tradition, providing frights and thrills since 1980. Benefiting the Boys and Girls Club of Bulloch County, the Haunted Forest returns to the Kiwanis Ogeechee Fairgrounds this year, kicking off with a student night on Thursday, October 26, and opening to the general public from October 27-31. Open nightly from 8 p.m. to midnight, tickets can be purchased in advance or at the gate.

The ghosts and goblins that go bump in the night will return to Statesboro, GA, this fall as the Haunted Forest of Statesboro returns to the Kiwanis Ogeechee Fairgrounds in 2023. The Haunted Forest will once again kick off with a student night on Thursday, October 26, and be open to the general public from October 27-31. Statesboro Tradition

The Haunted Forest of Statesboro is a local tradition, providing frights and thrills since 1980. First started by Professor "Mouse" Blankenbaker as a class project, the Haunted Forest has grown to be one of the largest charity-driven, volunteer-operated haunted attractions in Southeast Georgia. Once the weather begins to cool, the Haunted Forest ushers in the fall season, enjoyed by visitors of all ages. Supporting the Boys & Girls Club of Bulloch County, the Haunted Forest of Statesboro brings together the community while providing a terrifyingly good time for all who attend!

Entry prices for the 2023 Haunted Forest of Statesboro will remain flat from the previous year. Any student can enter the Haunted Forest with a $10.00 donation. Adults can enter with a $15.00 donation, and there will once again be a FastPass offered in 2023. With a $20.00 donation, visitors will skip the queue line, shaving significant time off a potentially long wait. Benefits Boys & Girls Club of Bulloch County

“We received unprecedented support from the community in 2022 as the Haunted Forest of Statesboro achieved record attendance,” said Lawana Marlin, Chief Executive Officer of the Boys & Girls Club of Bulloch County. “With nearly 6,000 supporters going through the turnstiles, the Haunted Forest has become one of our biggest and most important fundraisers of the year for our organization. The children of Bulloch County are truly the beneficiaries when the community comes together for some tricks and treats at the Haunted Forest.”

Support from the Haunted Forest helps the local club provide the youth of Bulloch County with a safe, constructive, supportive environment where all children have a place to go after school or during the summer months. For more than 21 years, the Boys & Girls Club has prioritized the approach of doing whatever it takes to Build Great Futures for the youth of Bulloch County.
