This process began in 2016 under the leadership of Joey Cowart who was the board chair. He lead the efforts to develop a comprehensive plan for the future of the Bulloch Academy campus.
The board voted to move forward with the first phase of the plan which focused on improving existing structures, adding a multipurpose gym, as well as covered drop off and paved parking.
They formed a Cornerstone Campaign in 2017 which was chaired by Mike Anderson and led by Dr. Marie Wall and Dr. Ruthie Crider. The developed a five year plan to fully fund the construction project over five years.
The first building constructed was the Author Howard Arena which opened on December 4, 2019. The students began school this year in the new campus, which represents a remarkable transformation.
The ribbon cutting ceremony served as a celebration for the accomplishments they have made and as a kick off for the second phase of the campus renovations and construction.
