For your parents and relatives we have pulled together some helpful information to make your graduation visit a wonderful one. Most of the information we are sharing has been put together by GS University and can be found here.
There are nearly 4,000 students graduating during five different ceremonies broken down by colleges. Three of these will be held in Statesboro at Paulson Stadium.
Two more will be held in Savannah on Saturday, May 13th at Enmarket Arena.

Tickets
No tickets are needed for Statesboro at Paulson Stadium. Paulson is a 25,000 seat OUTDOOR football stadium. The weather forecasts calls for low 80's and clears skies. Dress to sit in the sun for a couple of hours.
YOU WILL NEED TICKETS to attend graduation at Enmarket Arena in Savannah. You need to contact the graduate to get tickets. Each graduate has a limited number of tickets.

Getting there
Paulson Stadium is located at 1332 Stadium Southern Drive, Statesboro, GA. There is limited parking available at Paulson Stadium. They are also resurfacing the Veterans Memorial Parkway which is a popular way to enter the stadium. Shuttles are recommended.
Clear bags will not be required.

Shuttles will run one hour before the ceremony and one hour after the ceremony.

Lunch
Very few Statesboro restaurants accept reservations and they will not seat you until your entire party is on site, especially on a busy lunch day. Take a snack and be prepared to wait. Statesboro restaurants are overwhelmed and many are short staffed, because they employee students. Many of which are graduating or attending graduation.
There are lots of options. One of our favorites, a GC sponsor who helped make these tips possible, is Uncle Shug's Bar-B-Q Place on Main, located at 434 South Main Street, Statesboro, GA on the Blue mile. They have more than BBQ and it is all made from scratch. It is fast and delicious with plenty of parking and seating. Check out their menu by clicking here.

The best place to pick up some local Statesboro merchandise and to learn all about the Boro is our cities official welcome center which is VISIT STATESBORO located a few blocks north from Uncle Shugs.
Local Tip - grab a bag of Cork's Kettle Corn and a jar or two of Braswells jelly to take home a "taste" of Statesboro.
