Chicken lovers in Statesboro have another reason to rejoice! A second Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen has officially opened its doors at 23886 Northside Drive East, bringing with it a fresh new restaurant design and the same delicious Cajun-inspired flavors. This marks an exciting expansion for the popular fast-food chain in the area.
Manager Joshua Mincey and owners Tiku Schroff, Lisa Schroff and Meredith Flotts are looking forward to serving you at Statesboro's newest restaurant. They will be open Christmas Eve from 12 pm to 8 pm and closed on Christmas Day. Then they will begin regular hours on Thursday, December 26, 2024.
The new location showcases Popeyes' updated restaurant concept, which emphasizes a more modern and inviting atmosphere. It includes a pickup window and lane specifically designed for mobile orders and door dash.
Popeyes has been focusing on creating a more streamlined and efficient customer experience in its newer stores. This includes updated kitchen layouts for faster service, enhanced digital ordering options, and dining areas with a contemporary feel.
This new Popeyes location is part of a broader development trend in Statesboro, particularly along the Highway 80 East corridor. The area is experiencing significant growth with the addition of new businesses and restaurants, catering to the increasing demand from both local residents and visitors.
The new Popeyes is situated near other recently opened establishments like Texas Roadhouse, Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Que, and Five Guys, further solidifying the area as a dining destination.
The addition of this second Popeyes location is expected to not only provide more convenience for customers but also contribute to the local economy by creating new job opportunities. Statesboro residents can now enjoy their favorite Popeyes menu items, including the iconic chicken sandwich, crispy fried chicken, and flavorful sides, at two convenient locations in the city.
This opening reflects Popeyes' ongoing commitment to expanding its presence and providing its unique Louisiana-style cuisine to more communities. The company has been actively innovating its restaurant designs and technology to enhance the customer experience and stay ahead in the competitive fast-food industry.
With the new Popeyes now open, Statesboro residents have even more dining options to choose from, and the Highway 80 East area continues to evolve as a hub for both business and leisure activities.
The Schroff's, of Statesboro, also own the three Dunkin' including the newest one beside Poypeyes that opened last week.
Construction is set to begin in late January beside Poypeyes for a Newk’s Eatery: a fast and casual dining option that offers salads, sandwiches, pizzas, and more. Mrs. Schroff compared it to its parent restaurant, McAlister's Deli.
