Over 500 jobs
Ecoplastic is excited to bring this same level of expertise to Georgia as they follow Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America to this region as a tier-1 supplier. Ecoplastic is proud to be building their new home here in Bulloch County and is looking forward to the many opportunities for mutual growth that will come in the following years.
When all is said and done, the company will have created more than 500 jobs and invested over $205 million in its new Bulloch County facility, which is currently under construction at 4800 Highway 301 South.
In fact, Ecoplastics headquarters currently employs approximately 520 employees. This means the scale of their operations here in the state of Georgia will rival that of their corporate headquarters.
People Focused
Ecoplastic is very people-focused. Their business philosophy reflects the belief that the essence of a corporation is its people and that the best companies can be created only through the happiness of its employees.
They want to make Ecoplastic into a company where everyone wants to work, especially as they are excited to bring many fulfilling career opportunities to Bulloch County.
Community Impact
Not only do they want to positively impact the lives of their employees, but they also want to positively impact everyone in their new community as a great corporate citizen.
“As our company makes its new home in Bulloch County, we are excited to work closely with local businesses and residents so our company can successfully integrate into this community as a member of the 'Boro.' We intend to learn more about opportunities for community outreach so we can best support our new neighbors. Like our partner HMGMA, we are considering making partnerships with educational institutions in the area to bring more opportunities to local students hoping to start their careers,” said Chulhwan (Charlie) Kim, CEO of Ecoplastic America.
“We have been blown away by the support given to us by the local community already; many folks have reached out and have made our day-to-day operations run smoothly. We look forward to joining the Bulloch County community.”
