As part of 180’s continued efforts to offer the best fitness experience possible, they have announced a merger with LOA Fitness for Women. They will be re-branding LOA to EMPOWhER by 180 Fitness. This is an exciting merger between to successful local businesses that will certainly increase the value and experience for their customers.
“EMPOWhER by 180 Fitness” will officially open its doors on Monday, August 3rd at 8 am.
Over the last 14 years, 180 Fitness has been committed to the betterment of their members and our community. Their mission to “Turn Your Life Around” continues to be the driving force in every decision they make.

Located in the former LOA Fitness for Women location at 1553 Northside Drive East, EMPOWhER will be a full-service fitness facility offering group fitness classes, childcare, personal training,nutritional coaching, and much more for women only!
They will be retaining the former LOA Fitness staff and adding a few more staff members.
180 Fitness will continue their normal operations at 4A College Plaza. However, there will be a dual enrollment option for ladies who would like to use both locations. 180 Fitness and EMPOWhER is locally owned by Angie Hitchens, Brandon Blair and Kevin Felton.
EMPOWhER by 180 Fitness Grand Opening Celebration August 15th
To celebrate, EMPOWhER will be hosting a “GRAND OPENING” event on Saturday, August 15, from 8am – 2pm.
The public is invited to come try their group fitness classes, meet the staff, and take a tour of the EMPOWhER facility.
All attendees will be entered to win prizes as well as to take advantage of limited time founding membership deals offered as part of the gym merger.
