'Rally for Roe' at Bulloch County Courthouse this Saturday

The Young Democrats at Georgia Southern University, Students with Disabilities Advocacy Group, and Madeline Ryan Smith for Georgia are holding another reproductive rights rally this Saturday, July 2nd, 2022. “Rally for Roe 2.0” will be held at the Bulloch County Courthouse starting at 4 p.m.. The courthouse is located at 2 N Main St, Statesboro.

This is the public’s opportunity to protest against the Supreme Court’s official overturning of Roe vs. Wade. Roe vs Wade was a historic ruling that would’ve been 50 years old in 2023, causing great upset at its official overturning on June 24th.

The "Rally for Roe" is a public event. Individuals who want to speak can sign up via a Google Form on the event page. Current speakers include the President of the Students with Disabilities Advocacy Group, Jill King. As well as, the Community Outreach Chair of Young Democrats of Georgia Southern, Shannon Paulk.
