Al Melton Mikell, age 58 passed into eternal rest on Wednesday morning July 27, 2022, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center after a long illness.
He was a native of Bulloch County, a member of New Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, and a former employee of Mikell and Mikell Cleaning Service and Laborers. He was a 1983graduate of Statesboro High School.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-six years, Penny Mikell, Statesboro; two daughters, Alsheena Mikell-Hagins (Michael) and Quinshalia Mikell both of Statesboro; one son, Timothy Crawford (Takennia, Statesboro; one sister, Barbara Ann Everett, Register; three brothers, Clinton James Mikell (Sonja) and Terry Mikell both of Register and Jerry Mikell (Latrese) Statesboro; his mother-in-law, Eloise Moore, Statesboro; sister-in-law Demetres Reddick (Spencer) Port Wentworth, GA); a brother-in-law, Edward Moore (Angie) Statesboro, 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later.
