July 4, 2022 Georgia Southern’s Southern Chorale will be traveling to Germany once again for their next international choral competition, “Sing Berlin!”.

While in Germany, the choir will be visiting Leipzig, the center of Bach’s activities in the early 18th century, following the footsteps of Felix Mendelssohn through Dresden and Berlin, and visit Georgia Southern’s sister institution Martin Luther University in Halle, the birthplace of Händel.

They will end their tour in Hamberg and perform at the Harbor Festival with the German Federal police in Lübeck.

All of this is make possible through a generous grant from the Halle Foundation and through contributions from our Student Government Association.
