Bulloch County Youth Career Commission Inc. (YCCI) is accepting application to attend its 16th annual YCC-2022 summer program, for ages 13 – 24.

The program is free, will be conducted June 6 – 18, 2022, and registration closes on May 25, 2022.

There are two levels of applicants for YCC-2022; Level-1 (ages 13-17), and Level-2, (ages 18-24).

All applicants must schedule a YCCI program Intake Interview by May 25, 2022.
Level-1 applicants AND their legal Parents/Guardians are required to attend the Intake Interview together. Limited virtual interviews slots will be available. All in person interviews will be conducted at the Outreach Center 515 Denmark St. Suite 2500, in Statesboro.

The objectives of YCC-2022 is to provide or enhance the essential skills that will enable you to thrive in the workforce and society, to offer educational and career path guidance, ignite the entrepreneurial spirit, and provide the tools for you to achieve responsible independence and future upward socioeconomic mobility.

  • Entrepreneurship Development
  • Intro To The World of Avionics
  • Coding and Web3.0 Innovations

Field trips (when available) provide a first hand look at your career field of interest, and opportunities for job shadowing will be available. Previous industry visits included WTOC News, Fort Stewart Leadership Academy, Gulfstream Savannah, CocaCola Company, EA-Sports Company, Fashion Institute of Technology, NY, Microsoft, WA, and NASA Space Center-Houston.
