GSU Young Democrats to hold 'Rally for Roe' on Sunday

Organizers said this is to protest against the Supreme Court’s draft leak that indicated the overturning of Roe vs. Wade

The Young Democrats at Georgia Southern University are holding a reproductive rights rally this Sunday, May 15.

“Rally for Roe” will be held at the Bulloch County Courthouse, located at 2 N Main St, Statesboro from 1 pm to 4 pm.

Co-sponsors of this event include the Students with Disabilities Advocacy Group at Georgia Southern as well as the Bulloch County Democratic Committee.

This is the public’s opportunity to protest against the Supreme Court’s draft leak that indicated the overturning of Roe vs. Wade.

Local women and other progressives will be at the event to make their voices heard, as well as a handful of speakers.

Speakers to note include GA House of Representatives candidate Madeline Ryan Smith and Reverend Dr. Jane Page.
