The Statesboro Main Street Farmers Market kicked off their 2022 season on Saturday morning, April 2, 2022 and Wowed everyone who attended. Well over 1,000 citizens came to check out the new market location behind Visit Statesboro at 222 South Main and welcome the vendors back.

Over and over attendees told Grice Connect that they were initially disappointed with the move and were concerned it would lose its market feel by being placed in a building.

They soon discovered that the warehouse is designed with multiple large garage doors which make it more like a covered pavilion than a warehouse.

Vendors were thrilled as well reporting brisk sales and many ran out of inventory early.

Grice Connect walked through the market with market manager Willow Farmer on Facebook Live. If you missed the live video you can view it below and see for yourself how wonderful it was.

A large Grice Good to Becky Davis and Justin Samples with Visit Statesboro along with their board who had this remarkable vision.

Jamey Cartee of St. Andrews Builders exceeded expectations in bringing this wonderful community project to fruition.

Of course, lots of Grice Good to all the wonderful vendors who show up each week to make the market possible.

The Statesboro Main Street Farmers Market will be open every Saturday through November from 9 AM to 12:30 PM.
