The Georgia Southern theatre is getting ready for its first performance of the semester, Our Town, directed by Sarah McCarroll premiering Wednesday, February 23, 2022 and running till Sunday, February 27, 2022.
Our Town shows the moments - small and large - that combine to make up the lives in an American town. From birth and school years, through courting and marriage, to death and, ultimately, the constants that remain when we are gone, the play reminds us to pay attention to the little things, because time moves quickly, and tomorrow is not promised to us.
The premiere will be held on Wednesday, February 23 at 7: 30 p.m. and the show will run till Sunday, February 27 with all showing at 7:30 p.m., except for a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, February 27.
All performances will be held at the Center for Art & Theatre, located behind the Interdisciplinary building next to the Art building, on the Statesboro Campus.
General admission will be $12 with student admission at $6.
