Everett Lane Fire in Brooklet Area Intentionally Set

Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that the Everett Lane fire in the Brooklet area was intentionally set. The fire occurred at approximately 2:50 a.m. on November 16th on Everett Lane in Brooklet.

Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John F. King announced today that the Everett Lane fire in the Brooklet area was intentionally set.

The fire occurred at approximately 2:50 a.m. on November 16th on Everett Lane in Brooklet. The fire totally destroyed the 36-year-old, 828-square-foot residence.

“First responders arrived on scene to find the residence fully engulfed in flames,” said Commissioner King. “The home was unoccupied and had no electrical service connected at the time of the fire. Anyone with information about this Bulloch County fire is invited to call my Fire Investigations Unit at 1-800-282-5804.

Commissioner King’s Fire Investigations Unit is assisting the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office and the Bulloch County Fire Department with this investigation.

In coordination with the State Fire Investigations Unit, a reward of up to $10,000 is offered by Georgia Arson Control for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for arson.
