Bulloch County 911 dispatched Bulloch County Fire Stations 5, 6, 7 and Statesboro Fire Department to a house fire in Brooklet. They dispatched the call to an Everett Lane address at 2:49 am on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.
The call came in from a neighbor who reported visible flames.
When the first Bulloch Fire Engine 44 arrived on the scene, five minutes from the time the call was dispatched, they found the home fully consumed with fire.
Three fire engines and two fire tankers responded to the home in Everett Lane, which was a few miles east of Brooklet off of Highway 80. The wooden structure home was vacant at the time of the fire. The home was a total loss.
There were no injuries reported in the fire.
