Homecoming "Eagles After Hours"

Erk Russell famously said, "Our weekends begin on Thursdays!" Let's kick off 'Homecoming' with a special 'Eagles After Hours.' Enjoy time with your fellow alumni and share stories of your time at Georgia Southern and/or Armstrong.


NASA Career Panel

Friday, October 29 - 10 a.m.

NASA Career Panel featuring:
Jim Kennedy ('77), Director, Kennedy Space Center (ret.)
Bob Pound ('67), Chief of Test Operations, Kennedy Space Center (ret.)
Andy Warren ('87), Manager SLS Cross Program Integration, Marshall Space Flight Center

Join us for a career panel with three Georgia Southern Alumni who have worked at NASA. Together, their careers span the Apollo missions, the Space Shuttle, and today's Artemis Program. Moderated by Glenn Gibney, Director, GS Office of Career and Professional Development. 

This event is hosted by the College of Science and Mathematics.
The event is free, but registration is required.

Parking is available in The Hanner Fieldhouse parking lot.

Registration is required.


Homecoming Band Party featuring The Eighty3's 

Friday, October 29 - 7 -  11 p.m.
Eagle Creek Brewing Company,106 Savannah Ave. Suite B, Statesboro
The concert is FREE...just bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the music.
Eagle Creek Brewing Company will have food and beverages available for purchase.

Campus Tour

Saturday, October 30 - 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Hosted by The Office of Admissions. 
Tours leave Lewis Hall on Sweetheart Circle at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Take this walking tour and reminisce about your days at Georgia Southern
and see how much campus has grown. This is a free event but registration is required.

Parking is available in the Russell Union Parking Lot

The Parker College of Business homecoming tailgate will be held at Paulson Stadium in the RV parking area in lots RVB 33 and RVB 34
