Student Centered Parade Showcasing children's Literature

The parade is a student centered parade showcasing children’s literature.

Each class or grade level at Brooklet Elementary chooses a book that they read together throughout the month of October.

Then they decorate a pumpkin to match the book and create a large book poster.

On Friday, October 29th the entire school parades through downtown Brooklet celebrating the Fall season and literacy with their pumpkins and book covers.

The students and staff all dressed up and participated in this event incredible community event.
