In typical Rolling Monkey style, they are going all out for National Ice Cream Day on Sunday, July 18, 2021. Rolling Monkey was founded by Georgia Southern graduates Garrett and Meagan Clarke.

This dynamic couple and their awesome team have created an experience around America’s favorite treat – ice cream.

Their slogan defines it best, “Rolling Monkey Handcrafted Ice Cream, it’s more than ice cream, it’s an experience. An experience that delivers the freshest, made to order ice cream.”

An afternoon of Ice Cream celebrations

The fun afternoon of events begins at 12 noon in the parking lot in front of the ice cream shop which is in the Southern Square Shopping Center, behind Chic-Fil-A and down from Chicken Salad Chick. The event ends at 6:00 PM.

In addition to their delicious handcrafted ice cream experience, they will have activates throughout the day including:

  • 100 Foot Obstacle Course 12-6 PM
  • Photo Booth 12-6 PM
  • Trivia 12-6 PM
  • Face Painting 12-4 PM
  • Dunk Booth 2-4 PM (To benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Statesboro)
  • Mascot Race 5-6 PM

Dunk and Donate to Benefit Boys and Girls Club

From 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM the community can donate to the Boys and Girls Club for a chance to dunk the Rolling Monkey Founders, Garrett and Meagan Clark and the Rolling Monkey himself, Conner Clarke. Conner, Garrett’s son is the inspiration behind the Rolling Monkey.

Several team members nominated by the Rolling Monkey family will also be in the dunk booth.

Donate to Dunk on the day of the event:

  • 1 throw for $3
  • 3 throws for $5
  • Press the Dunking Booth button for $20

And while you’re at the event, tell them who else you want to dunk and they might just be able to make it happen! All in the name of a great cause, the Boys and Girls Club of Statesboro.
