Bulloch County 2020 Virtual Veterans Day Program - VIDEO

Local veterans and members of the American Legion Dexter Allen Post 90 came together this week to record the annual Bulloch County Veterans Day program. The program, recorded on Monday was held at the Emma Kelly Theater and was limited to participants and the media.

Former Post Commander Lonnie Ellis served as the keynote speaker this year and addressed the issues of mental illness and suicides in the Veteran community nationally. He reminded all Veterans that no matter what place they are currently in life, they have great value to our county and our community.

Post Commander Marvin Grimm served as the Master of Ceremony, Chaplain Barb Thames provided the invocation and closing prayer and Bob Marsh led the Pledge of Allegiance.

The Bulloch County Sheriff’s Department Color Guard presented the Colors for the ceremony.
